Project Overview

This residential building project is a true demonstration of the beauty of architecture, located at the heart of the bustling city. The team of designers and architects drew inspiration from four core concepts: optimizing land resource usage, creating architectural excellence, improving quality of life, and building for future generations. They blended the city with nature, art, and culture to create a breathtaking living space that is both desirable and beautiful.

DING-JI CONSTRUCTION

Project Brief

The team spent countless hours carefully planning every detail of the building's design. They began by sculpting the building's exterior with the finest granite, creating a magnificent new landmark in the city. The neo-classical aesthetics used in the design of the public spaces exude elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere of timeless beauty.

With this project, the team has successfully blended the vibrant energy of the city with the tranquility of nature, creating a serene and peaceful living space that is perfect for those who appreciate the finer things in life. The beauty of architecture lies in the fact that it always feels like a new beginning, and this project is no exception. It is truly a masterpiece that will be cherished for generations to come.

Project Innovation/Need

From the outside, the building's appearance is a testament to the skill and expertise of the team that designed it. The use of green granite on the exterior is a nod to the surrounding natural environment, blending in perfectly with the greenery. The effect is one of harmony and balance as if the building itself is a natural part of the landscape.

The choice of green granite also imbues the building with a sense of solidity and stability. It is as if the structure is built upon a foundation of rock, providing a sense of security and safety to those who enter.

The roof of the building is equally impressive. The four-sided eaves, like a ring tower, create a distinctive and memorable silhouette against the skyline. When the sun shines on it, the building becomes the brightest and most recognizable landmark in the city. It is a symbol of progress, stability, and strength, a testament to the team's commitment to creating a structure that stands the test of time.

Design Challenge

As you step into the reception hall, the first thing that catches your attention is the ample natural light that floods the room, thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. This creates a bright and airy atmosphere that feels open and welcoming. The walls are thoughtfully designed with a curved shape, giving the space a sense of fluidity and movement. The lighting fixtures add to this dynamic element, illuminating the space with a warm and inviting glow.

Moving further into the shared living space, you'll notice the tasteful use of woodwork, stone, and neutral colors that form the foundation of the design. The stone offers a stable and grounded texture, while the woodwork provides a warm and comforting feel. The color palette is elegant and gentle, creating a soothing and calming effect on visitors and residents alike. Together, these elements come together to create a comfortable and inviting sensory experience that is both welcoming and relaxing.

Sustainability

At the heart of everything lies the home, and its foundation is built on the human element. That's why this project's design focuses on creating a living space that's not only comforting but also provides residents with a stable and secure experience. To ensure the safety of the living space, the building structure uses the "Alfa Safe Seismic Resistant System Method". This method is a significant improvement over the traditional manual bonding of steel bars as it strengthens the seismic toughness of the structure. The choice of materials was also taken into consideration, with fire-resistant and earthquake-resistant lightweight gypsum tiles used for the partition walls and durable wood flooring that meets the European E1 formaldehyde safety standard. The building also uses LOW-E insulating glass that can block heat conduction, resist UV rays, and wind pressure, and soundproofing, making it a highly durable and sustainable structure. All of these choices come together to create a beautiful and secure living space that residents can call their home.
